The annual Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) Honors Convocation was held at Morningside University during which several students and employees were recognized for their academic, co-curricular, athletic, and professional achievements.
Ilene Therma Cromwell, 90, of Richland, SD passed away at Sanford Vermillion Hospital on Thursday, April 11, 2024. Visitation will be held at Hansen Funeral Home, Vermillion on April 19, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.
The third planning meeting for the Akron/Akron-Westfield All-Class Reunion will be held at the Security National Bank’s meeting room at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. Many items were put on the schedule for the June 27, 28, 2025 reunion but more ideas and volunteers are still needed. If you are interested in assisting in any way, you are most welcome to join in these planning sessions.
