Kervyn Heeren, 93, of rural Akron, South Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in Sioux City, Iowa.

Surrounded by her family, Elaine Marie Swoyer peacefully passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Tammy Mae Popken, 56, of rural Akron, Iowa, peacefully acquired her heavenly wings on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center in Carson City, Nevada following a courageous battle with cancer.

William ‘Bill’ Rabey, 81, of Akron, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 18, 2024, in Prior Lake, Minnesota.

We honor the life and accomplishments of Mary Louise Attig, known to her family and close friends as “Skeeze.”  Mary died at Unity Point - St. Lukes Medical Center in Sioux City, IA on October 13, 2024 at the age of 93. Mary was transported there from her residence at Akron Care Center after a short illness. Her family appreciates the excellent care provided during her stay at Akron Care Center and at Unity Point - St. Lukes.

Dale Thomas Bosse of Westfield, Iowa, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends after a long courageous battle of stage four pancreatic cancer. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, September 7 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church in Jefferson, SD, with Fr. Joe Vogel celebrating. Visitation will be Friday, September 6 from 5 – 7 p.m., with a vigil service at 7 p.m. all held at the church.
