Five Akron-Westfield juniors and seniors were recipients of the 2024 War Eagle Conference top 5% of their class academically and were honored at a recent banquet: seniors Ashton McCully and Audrey Miller and juniors Daynen McKee, Campbell Anderson, and Josie Jacobs.

“A Coincidence is when events happen at the same time or place that seems to have some connection.”

Certainly, we all have had those moments.  I have one in particular that I wonder if our genes got mixed up.

Please honor our dad, Darwyn Klemme, with a card shower in honor of his 90th birthday, Sunday, March 24, 2024.

A large crowd attended a millionaire masquerade ball March 15 at Akron Golf Club. The event was sponsored by the Akron-Westfield Athletic Booster Club.

During the ball, someone was poisoned with a drink and those in attendance had to uncover who did it.

The jukebox musical “Jersey Boys” follows the start-up, glory, and break-up of the 1960s rock 'n' roll group, The Four Seasons. 

The Akron Public Library held its monthly STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) Club March 13. This month students learned about aerodynamics and building a paper airplane.
